Retail store designers and visual merchandisers gathered in New York Dec. 2-4 for Retail Design Collective, the industry’s winter market week. Their busy schedules included visits to showrooms throughout the city, daily conference sessions, the annual PAVE Gala and tours of the city’s holiday displays.
Retail Design Collective’s unique showroom format provides an unmatched opportunity for retailers to view product lines in depth, while also gaining inspiration from the innovative displays. Products on display this year include mannequins, seasonal décor, store fixtures, interactive technology, signage/graphics, flooring, materials, and more.
The annual PAVE Gala on Dec. 2 was a sell-out, as nearly 850 celebrants gathered at Cipriani Wall Street. Proceeds from the annual fundraiser benefit retail design students. PAVE also sponsored a Global Awareness Display and a student trends briefing during the show.
