Some 45% of retailers plan to spend more on signage and graphics in 2016 than they did in 2015, and 14% of them plan to spend “significantly” more. The findings were part of the 2016 A.R.E. | POPAI Purchasing Forecast survey of retailers. For indies, signage is a key expenditure this year — a whopping 88% of single-store owners are allocating higher signage budgets this year.
