Designed to reflect the vision of perusing through a chic best friend’s house and closet, this 1,800-sq.-ft. boutique marks the brick-and-mortar debut of Vidorra, meaning “live the good life” in Spanish. The retail lifestyle destination also has an e-commerce site, launched several months prior to the store’s summer opening in the Alhambra Place complex, in Alhambra, CA.
The downtown district shop boasts French/Spanish and art deco influences, mixed with rustic elements. “It offers a warm and inviting atmosphere,” says Liza Rodriguez, owner.
Influenced by a mix of high fashion sophistication and casual bohemian chic, merchandise includes trends, classics, basics, denim, and select artisan, luxury, and vintage pieces. Rodriguez, who has worked over 25 years in the apparel retail industry for brands such as Joe’s Jeans, BCBG, and Lucky Brand, says she has high hopes for the boutique as Alhambra undergoes a revitalization with new developments popping up in the next year.
