The Shop! association celebrated 28 winning in-store marketing and merchandising displays at this year’s Shop! West Coast Pop-Up Gallery held at the PARC 55 Hotel in San Francisco.
Rapid Displays’ Hue Endcap took the Best in Show Award. Produced for Philips Hue for its lighted, encased end-cap display, the entry was a prime example of the forward-thinking displays the award program has come to recognize. The Best of Structural Design award was given to Baer Enterprises Inc. for its New Amsterdam Vodka “City in a Bottle” Mass Display, produced for E. & J. Gallo Winery. AAA took home the Best of Artwork award for its Summary Road Trip Display.
“I’m always so impressed each year as Shop! members enter such creative and innovative displays. They keep pushing the boundaries for their clients, and it’s such a pleasure to see their capabilities,” says Peter Kornhaber, VP of sales and marketing of Rapid Displays, West, and the chair of the West Coast Pop-Up Gallery committee.
Since 1947, this event has featured the most creative and dynamic P-O-P and packaging solutions sold, produced, or marketed on the West Coast. The West Coast Pop-Up Gallery is comprised of an awards program offering recognition through the four “Best of” categories, the Choice Award, and Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in each of the 12 categories. The program provides an opportunity for all producers to showcase their latest and most innovative store displays and fixtures at a one-night-only creative gallery.

In attendance were more than 100 leading brand marketers, display producers, and retailers.
