GPA has added PaperTyger Durable Papers for HP Indigo Presses to its product lineup in the North American market.
Because these sheets print like traditional papers with the added durability of synthetics, marketers, designers, and print professionals have a new choice for a multi-tasking substrate that combines the best of both worlds, according to the company.
Due to its patented, solvent-free manufacturing process that laminates two paper layers to a PET core, PaperTyger looks, feels, and performs like paper with added resistance to tearing, moisture, and greasy substances. These specialty papers are designed for any application that calls for durability at a cost-effective price point and are especially suited for rugged maps, menus, manuals, instruction guides, ID cards, banners, posters, packaging, and more.
PaperTyger Durable Papers for HP Indigo Presses offer “the hassle-free finishing and converting performance of papers and can be easily guillotine cut, die cut, scored, folded, and glued, among other processes,” GPA states. It also boasts FSC certification and is made of paper from responsible sources to give users “peace of mind that they have supported the sustainable use of natural resources.”
GPA stocks PaperTyger in five basis weights ranging from 27# Bond to 108# C2S in white 13-in.-by-19-in. sheets. These sheets are also compatible with dry toner presses for universal digital press compatibility.
