HOW DO WE EXPLAIN VALUE?
This is an interesting question for an association. On the one hand, as members, we always want you to know why you belong and what value you get as a member.
We hope you could easily explain how our events help you generate business, how our education helps train your staff, and how our research helps your company innovate and grow.
But as a newly formed entity with a new name, perhaps that is easier said than done. As the trade association focused on enhancing retail environments and experiences, we need to always be creating and conveying value to you, the member.
Toward that end, I am happy to share the Shop! Value Cycle.
The Shop! Value Cycle is our content map that has five phases defining the full spectrum of activities that culminate in shopper purchases at retail:
- The Research Phase
- The Design Phase
- The Build Phase
- The Marketing Phase
- The Evaluation Phase
In THE RESEARCH PHASE, we seek to bring you important insight to consumer behavior, information on new trends, and a spotlight to the future of our industry.
In THE DESIGN PHASE, we want to be the leading global voice for CX, store, display, and fixture design.
In THE BUILD PHASE, we will keep members up to date on all aspects of manufacturing, construction, materials, methods, logistics, and installation.
In THE MARKETING PHASE, we will stay focused on all aspects of what affects P-O-P advertising, including in-store marketing/communications, visual merchandising, and technology advancements.
Finally, in THE EVALUATION PHASE, we want to help you stay ahead of the curve on all analytics that help identify return on investment, while also recognizing best-in-class performance in our industry.
This is the Shop! Value Cycle, and members will see insights through these phases through research, education, events and more.
