Eric Kuhn has joined Bergmeyer Associates Inc. as a retail market leader. His focus will be on developing and serving key client accounts in Bergmeyer’s retail markets. He will also lend his expertise to the firm’s hospitality and food service design practices.
“Eric is an exciting addition to the team,” says Mike Davis, FAIA, president of Bergmeyer. “A multi-talented professional with a personable and engaging style, he will contribute significantly to our already amazing pool of design talent and allow us to approach our markets with even more expertise and confidence.”
According to the firm, Kuhn has always excelled in designing to create user experiences. With nearly 30 years of service to retail clients and a portfolio ranging from Macy’s to Hilfiger, Columbia Sportswear to Harley, Hilton to Planet Hollywood, and WaWa to Roche Bros in Boston’s Downtown Crossing, Eric’s passion lies in guiding teams through the inception, development and manifestation of highly innovative solutions for strategically-oriented projects.
“There are no standard or easy solutions in this business,” Kuhn says. “It’s always changing. But you learn to work with it and apply learned insights in new and different ways.”
Being a firm believer in the collaborative process, Kuhn adds: “Design isn’t an individual pursuit. At its best, it involves the interplay between many different minds and points of view. Great partnerships make for great work; which is what makes this a great business.”
