GlobalShop, the Shop!-sponsored trade show and conference for the retail environments industry, has partnered with The Magnificent Mile Association on the Windows of The Magnificent Mile program during GlobalShop, March 27–29, 2018. The program will feature window displays from 15 to 20 retailer members of the association with materials provided by GlobalShop exhibitors. The window displays will be unveiled the morning of the first day of the show and will remain on display through the month of April.
The Windows of The Magnificent Mile program is not only a celebration of the retail design industry, but also a nationally marketed consumer campaign to pique the interest of shoppers and drive foot traffic to brick-and-mortar stores.

The event featured significant branding up and down the street through banners as well as on the store windows themselves, drawing attention to the retailers’ products and services. During the week of GlobalShop, the association reported a 12% year-over-year increase in retail sales, indicating strong shopper interest and pull-through from the street-side windows.”

Participating retailers include Bulgari, Bloomingdale’s Medinah Home Store, Charming Charlie, Chicago Contemporary Museum of Art Store, Fannie May Chocolates, Hanig’s Footwear, I Love Chicago, Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio, Overland Sheepskin, The Goldsmith Ltd., and Saks Fifth Avenue. Supplier partners and additional retailers will be confirmed by the end of December.
