IDL Worldwide, a global expert in consumer experience design and production, today announced that it has acquired MarketCraft, a leading provider of custom product display solutions and IDL’s largest supplier for custom manufacturing on the U.S. West Coast.
MarketCraft, which was founded in 2011, will retain its 35,000-ft. manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Ore., U.S., and will continue to operate under the leadership of Founder and President John Johnson.
The acquisition will allow IDL to create high-end custom experiences more quickly and with greater efficiency in response to a rapidly changing marketplace, says Alex Vera, executive creative director for IDL.
“Retailers and brands are shifting marketing dollars toward high-end consumer experiences across fewer locations,” Vera says. “These experiences require a highly custom and nimble manufacturing approach with more attention to detail than traditional commodity display manufacturing.”
MarketCraft specializes in small-run custom retail fabrication, with services that include custom display engineering and fabrication; millwork; digital graphic printing, laminating, and finishing; and more.
“We are excited to strengthen this partnership to better serve our clients as we create innovative ways for brands to interact with consumers,” Vera adds.
