CREATING A RICH NARRATIVE SPANNING NUMEROUS ROOMS, this design reveals a series of experiences that illuminate the joy of reading.
Unfolding like the pages of a beautifully illustrated book, the store invites exploration within a layout that combines the look of a contemporary art gallery with an upscale department store.
Keeping books as the heart and soul of the design, the concept provides an equally fitting showcase for other merchandise. Instilling a home-like atmosphere – such as a fireplace and book shelves resembling a personal library in the Home section – adds a sense of comfort and belonging.
Other design elements include:
- Custom-designed freestanding fixtures such are accent tables, bookshelves and merchandising elevations
- Porcelain tile flooring resembling wood
- Neutral palette backdrop
Each department also features digital screens. Lighting is directed around the perimeter and focuses on the product zones.
