Seaport district design highlights shoemaking legacy
TURNING THE TIDE, THIS REFINISHED SPACE HIGHLIGHTS THE BRAND’S LEGACY by blending technology, customization, and localization inside a historical property where ships were built during World War I. The flagship store, on the ground level of the company’s headquarters in the city’s Seaport District, marks the 15th location Shawmut has built for Reebok over the past 12 years. Completing the project involved extensive refinishing of the space’s industrial elements, such as the century-old concrete ceilings and flooring.
