TAKING INSPIRATION FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN COAST, this design evokes a beachy, relaxed feel that’s also glamorous and stays true to the brand’s luxury image.
Featuring sea-inspired carpets, the store takes on a high-end resort destination vibe befitting the opening of the brand’s first boutique in this coastal town on the French Riviera. The custom-designed rugs, following a sea gradient, are only in this specific location.
Other elements include:
- Contrasting raw materials with navy blue and neutral colors.
- Using white rattan furniture and gold accents throughout the space.
- Dividing two main rooms with a marble portal.
Combining mirrors with the neutral palette also gives the illusion of a larger feel. A popup ceiling cove enhances the feeling of larger volume.
Developing an open, freestanding sunglasses display meets the challenge of not having room for built-in fixtures. Two illuminated hanging signs in the store provide a solution to a ban that forbids outside signage on the landmark-protected facade.
