LED video displays draw attention
HEIGHTENING CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT, these two FLEXClear transparent LED video displays from PixelFLEX provide an eye-popping, energizing effect to the front windows of the Levi’s Market Street store in San Francisco.
Levi’s has occupied the 8,000-sq.-ft. space since 2013. Completion of the retrofit installation in April puts a fresh spin on the flagship store by bringing the brand’s campaigns to life and sparking selfie moments from pedestrians on the tourist-heavy sidewalk. Because natural light is essential to the layout, the slim, attractive displays featuring high LED brightness also make an impactful statement without blocking sun and sightlines.
The project included removing the old track lights used to illuminate the window mannequins. The two separate FLEXClear LED video displays each have 30 tiles. Each display is mounted to a rod hanging from the ceiling. As a 65-75% transparent LED display, FLEXClear gives designers the ability to offer a truly dynamic experience for consumers. With a 100,000-hour LED life and an IP44 rating, FLEXClear installation is quick and easy using spring-loaded Cam Locks for panel interlocking and offers easy back access for any service needs.
