Global Shop Solutions Operations Consultant J.N. Strausbaugh has been named to Manufacturing Engineering’s 2018 30 Under 30 list.
Strausbaugh has served as a Global Shop Solutions operations consultant for five years. He specializes in new customer implementations and designing and implementing custom software programs that enable existing customers to improve their manufacturing processes.
“Global Shop Solutions appreciates J.N.’s dedication to our customers in helping them expand their understanding and fluency with our ERP software. It is an honor to work alongside him as he displays focus, curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills when working with our great customers,” says Global Shop Solutions CEO and President, Dusty Alexander.
Graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in finance and GSCOM, Strausbaugh began his employment at Global Shop Solutions as a member of Fast Response and quickly was promoted to Tier 2 Service team, where he trained hundreds of customers a month on core applications, showcased new features, and resolved operational issues. Today, in an industry where most ERP consultants virtually live on the road, J.N. takes it to the extreme, averaging 48 weeks of travel and nearly 110,000 miles flown or driven throughout the U.S. and Canada in 2016 and 2017. Where most people would quickly tire of the incessant travel, J.N. embraces every trip as an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and help Global Shop Solutions’ customers achieve their dreams.
This is the sixth consecutive year SME’s Advanced Manufacturing Media has recognized 30 individuals under the age of 30 who are making a difference in the field of manufacturing. Each nominee demonstrated extraordinary promise in manufacturing.
