EMBRACING CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION AND THE FLUID NATURE OF FASHION, a fixture holding system in the ceiling allows for moveable display walls throughout this beautifully illuminated store.
Dynamic, energizing floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the mid-century modern furniture and plush carpets in bright daylight, instilling warmth and softness within the space.
Linear fritted glazing, perforated metal mesh screens, and an automated shade system reduce glare and heat gain while still allowing natural daylight to illuminate the interior.
The location also marks the first Nordstrom store to have a 50% green roof.
Housing 12 designer boutiques, the easy navigable layout is carefully choreographed to create an engaging customer journey using a luxurious natural palette as its backdrop. Close coordination with each vendor and meticulous planning provides each brand shop with its own casework while maintaining a cohesive experience.
Open flow and unobstructed views add to the sense of discovery. Faster evolving merchandising areas populate the center. More personalized environments are along the perimeter.
Curated artwork installations and creative visual displays provide daily personalization and cross-merchandising opportunities. Commissioned works by local and international artists include a 6,000 lb. ceramic art piece in the feature stairway.
Other elements include an aesthetically-pleasing floating stone staircase with open treads and glass railings, leading from the parking garage to the first-floor sales area.
