SITTING IN THE HEART OF THE TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER, THIS DESIGN BREATHES NEW LIFE into the site of a closed restaurant by introducing an upscale culinary destination with a cultured, country club-feel.
Catering to medical professionals and the general community, the flexible space accommodates everything from to business lunches, to fine dining and celebrations. Elevating the ceiling plane maximizes views of the medical center.
The interior includes a large dining room, two private dining spaces, and two banquet rooms. An outdoor terrace with a cantilevered canopy system features fans, lighting, and speakers. There are also two fireplaces. A multi-screen display above one of the fireplaces can be utilized for business presentations and special events.
Welcoming guests with elegant surroundings begins in the elevator lobby, where an absolute black granite and limestone logo is embedded within mosaic stone flooring. A gallery-like hall with a rotating art exhibit adds to the high-end tone. Silver vein limestone covers the corridors.
Serving as central focal point, a 360-degree bar features several 40-in. television screens subtly tucked away at the top. Each monitor provides headphone capabilities. Booth seating surrounds the perimeter of the bar and lounge.
Other design highlights include wool carpet and hickory custom stained floors throughout the dining space. Eucalyptus wood paneling covers the walls of the dining space and bar.
Custom banquettes with pebble textured leather on the seat and back are paired with quartz tables and woven armless chairs. Brushed aluminum metal screens surrounded by a wooden frame create privacy. Pendant lighting adds ambiance.
