INCORPORATING DARKER, MORE REFINED FINISHES INTO THIS DESIGN injects a modern, urban edge that elevates the experience and appeals to the urban suburbanite customer.
Mannequins at the newly renovated vestibule entrance provide inspiration for what’s to come. Presenting a strong narrative of how men shop for different occasions, contemporary and denim brands are around the entrance. Men’s better brands are in a central location. Suits and accessories are towards the back.
Showcasing t-shirt designs in frames suspended on the perimeter feature wall, with surrounding character tables and mannequins, also creates a unique visual moment.
Focal screen walls, slatted wood ceiling, and phone charging areas further enhance the design. Upgrading the fitting rooms with paint, lighting, and furniture promotes interaction between customers and associates.
Bold, black track lighting is used throughout the space, along with recessed lighting in drywall areas. More lighting is suspended from the slatted wood beam ceiling. Track lighting informs the customer’s journey, following the main aisle and moving through the space.
Other highlights include wallpaper that’s updated seasonally to provide a bold, fresh look. Using a black metal oxide finish on multiple fixtures and screen details enhances the design’s masculine look.
Various flooring materials, such as carpet tile with pinstripe detail in men’s suits, helps distinguish the zones. A polished gray porcelain aisle tile provides continuity and acts a form of wayfinding.
