idX Corp., a premier, custom global supply chain solution for consumer environments, is expanding its operations in China to serve its clients’ growing needs in the region.
idX is expanding its regional project management office in Shanghai to accommodate its increased capabilities. idX EVP International Operations Jeff Ouyang says, “As part of our continuous growth plans, we have added industry leaders in design, engineering and construction services to our current top-notch staff.”
idX China has also been granted a China-wide Level II construction license. The license allows idX to perform general construction fit-out projects across all of China. By vertically integrating its services, idX China can provide a turnkey solution—from design and engineering to fixture installation and site decor.
“We have eliminated the need for companies to manage handovers between separate fixture manufacturers and GCs,” says idX VP Business Development Asia David Markland. “Our clients can now coordinate manufacturing, construction, and implementation through one point of contact–idX.”
idX China construction services are under the leadership of Construction Manager Ethan Wang. idX China has three offices: regional project management in Xuhui District, Shanghai; an Asia manufacturing hub in Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province; and regional project and quality management in Jimei District, Xiamen, Fujian Province.
