Written by Jean-Pierre Lacroix, founder and president of Shikatani Lacroix and SLDNXT, Desire by Design is being released this month, and is the amalgamation of over 35 years of experience in the design and branding industry.
In Desire by Design, Lacroix unravels the irrational element of desire and explains how brands, designers, and marketers can tap into the emotional high that elicits such passion for certain brands. The book features interesting history, insights from scientific research, and actionable advice to lead brands from a “want” category to the much-coveted desire space in the marketplace.
Desire by Design is Jean-Pierre’s third book, and is currently available for pre-order through all major retailers. Jean-Pierre has previously co-authored The Business of Graphic Design, which is in its second printing, and The Belonging Experience: How Brands Connect with Consumers, which was published in 2010.
