idX Corp., a U.S.-based custom global solution provider for consumer environments, is enhancing its design capabilities in Europe, as Director of Design Development David Patterson has relocated to Amsterdam.
Patterson was previously based in idX’s Seattle office, working with a number of major idX clients. He will continue his work with those clients, while also adding his design development skills to idX’s European capabilities.
“As idX continues to expand our footprint to better service our global customers, Dave’s skills and experience will be well-received among our European clients,” says Jeff Ouyang, idX EVP international operations.
Patterson has 18 years experience in architecture and design, with the past seven years in retail design development and manufacturing. His skills range from hospitality, multi-family, and retail projects, to supply-chain sourcing in APAC and the United States. He also has experience leading design, project management, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Among idX’s EU clients is Hudson’s Bay Co. (HBC), which has worked in partnership with idX to open more than a dozen new stores in the Netherlands in the past year. The global turnkey relationship is managed by a team from idX in London, Amsterdam, and Toronto.
Fixtures were produced in Eastern Europe and China, and regional teams provided installation.
