Displaying a unique integration of nature and technology, this enthralling green space allures passengers in need of respite. The 6-meter-high centerpiece juxtaposes a towering, organically shaped steel structure with botanical motifs and living plants, such as terrestrial plants to terrarium ecosystems. It establishes both synergy and contrast between synthetic and biological elements.
The garden features a mesmerizing light show that makes full use of the steel sculpture’s intricate form, creating a dynamic visitor experience. Evocative, multicolored lighting sets the tone and creates myriad effects.
In the middle of the space, visitors can walk over an integrated subsurface koi pond, explore miniature ecosystems housed within the larger-than-life terrariums, and rest against organic timber seating. The sensorium includes a complex network of misters to support air plants growing over its surface.
The engaging showpiece is a fitting introduction to the terminal’s unique characteristics, as well as a key rest point for travelers within Terminal 4’s retail area.
