EuroShop 2020 will be the international meeting place for 2,300 exhibitors from over 60 countries and 114,000 trade visitors from around the globe Feb. 16–20 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. The retail trade fair’s eight Experience Dimensions will cover retailers’ complete investment needs and provide many inspirations and answers for retailers to stay competitive.
What functions do stores have to perform today? Serve as experience places and points of identification? Feel-good locations? A Third Place? Popup marketplaces? What do they have to look or feel like? The Shop Fitting & Store Design Dimension will provide creative answers.
The Retail Technology Dimension will focus on augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, Internet-of-Things, smart store, customer engagement, mobile payment, and cloud-based services.
The Retail Marketing Dimension will provide in-depth and digital shopper interaction – from customer engagement and brand experiences in physical and digital stores to personalization via mobile devices, artificial intelligence, and digital signage.
The versatile technical applications of lighting will be on show at the Lighting Dimension: from smart lighting to the IoT in conjunction with such ecological aspects as sustainability and efficiency.
The Visual Merchandising Dimension will show how to perfectly stage merchandise, fascinate and wow shoppers with either walk-in stores or augmented reality, as pop-up or digital stores.
The new Food Service Equipment Dimension will pick up on the trend of supermarkets and fashion stores offering food services. Featured will be everything from fast food to Michelin star cuisine.
The Refrigeration & Energy Management Dimension will demonstrate the connection between ecology and economy. Digital transformation and building automation, IoT and AI, efficiency and staging – all of this is instrumental for climate-neutral smart stores.
Trade fairs and events on the way to digitalization and “festivalization” will be the topic at the Expo & Event Dimension, a sector-specific get-together for the live communication community.
