DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM THE LOCAL CULTURE OF HOKKAIDO, this highly detailed design aesthetic provides an enchanting, authentic dining experience. Traditional Japanese carpentry, limestone cladded walls, a zen garden, and pebbled walkways create a serene, realistic environment. Solid pyinkado and red oak woods also adorn the interior. Elements such as washi paper, shoji partitions, and tatami seating adds to the aura of transporting guests to their destination — the second largest of Japan's four main islands.

The fusion of colors, patterns, shapes, and aromas fill the two-level restaurant, which includes a main area with a six-seat cocktail bar on the ground floor. Private dining rooms upstairs each feature a different design unique to Hokkaido. Due to the low ceiling, placement of water sprinklers and smoke exhausts were strategically positioned to avoid interfering with the patterns of the lattice ceilings. Lining the upper-level corridors with slatted wood walls also lends an air of warmth.
