COZY PRIVATE SEATING AND AN OPEN PREPARATION AREA SUPPORT THIS BRAND'S MESSAGE of encouraging customers to enjoy healthy, freshly prepared meals. The colorful cornucopia of natural ingredients — visible in some 60 trays — also blends well with the bold vibe of yellow industrial stools.

Referring to the brand's vision of connecting communities and bridging cultures, a front counter takes the form of a traditional, family-style communal kitchen with random-size dummy drawers, smoked glass panels, wooden spindle legs, pluming knobs, and custom-made folded metal rivet fastened handles. Incorporating the brand's "take a book, leave a book" concept provides an old school tactile touch.

A wood lathe ceiling of stained maple planks adds warmth and further enhances the company's mission. Walls of patterned patchwork tile were inspired by and denote the world cuisine-influenced menu.

Replicating the common area wood ceiling within the new unit creates a fluid transition and meets the mall's stringent criteria requiring finishes to match or complement existing design features. The wood lathes have also become a standard design element in rollouts to other locations.
