The Walmart Hot Wheels Sidekick is the first-ever permanent sidekick in the retailer’s toy section. The design pays close attention to customer shopping tendencies and serves as a branded beacon for both adult collectors and children.
Pegs neatly indexing the cars appeal to hardcore collectors. Incorporating the clear dump bin creates a treasure hunt for adventurous children.
The metal frame, shatterproof acrylic, and durable plastic graphics also allows the display to withstand the rigors of Walmart’s retail environment for years to come. The Hot Wheels color pallet distinguishes the display as a beacon when looking up or down the visual noise of the aisle.
The relatively small dimensions of the sidekick keep it within the retailer’s regulations. However, using tried and true engineering principles allows for housing of 300 pieces within the display.
