20th CHINASHOP draws more than 55,000 attendees

Shop! Greater China’s pavilion at CHINASHOP housed designated areas for partner companies to meet with show attendees.
CHINASHOP, one of the largest retail trade shows in China, returned for its 20th year Nov. 1–3 in Kunming, China. CHINASHOP is organized by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) and is presented in collaboration with Shop! Greater China. Covering 95,000 sq. m., this year’s event drew more than 55,000 attendees and showcased over 100,000 products.
Shop! Greater China had a significant presence at the event, including a 400-sq.-m. pavilion at the trade show, the Shop! Greater China Award Ceremony, and the two-day Shop!-CHINASHOP International Forum, which featured 12 presentations and 14 speakers from nine nations.

Speakers at the forum included David Plante, director of consumer and marketplace insights, Target (U.S.); Petr Simek, managing director, WELLEN (Czech Republic); Richard Nicoll, chief shopper marketing officer, Publicis Groupe (UK); Roberto Martignone, senior interior architectural designer, New Crazy Colors (Italy); and Angela Chung, founder, Display Community (China).
