Aiming to give back to the local community during the holiday season, Bay Cities partnered with the Pico Rivera Chamber of Commerce and the Beach Cities Toy Drive for their Annual Toy Drives.
Bay Cities donated pallets of unwrapped toys. On Dec. 14, the toys were distributed to the Plaza la Raza and Alma Family Services at Pico Rivera’s wrapping party. The Beach Cities Toy Drive distribution took place Dec. 22 and included the Salvation Army, 1736 Family Crisis Center, and the Richstone Family Center. Bay Cities has assisted with these events in the past few years.
Julian Balderas, executive director of the Pico Rivera Chamber of Commerce, says, “We are so grateful to see the participation of Bay Cities and other valued Chamber Members in this magical holiday event for Pico Rivera’s families in need.”
“Bay Cities is happy to support the Cities of Pico Rivera, Manhattan Beach, and Hermosa Beach in their charitable efforts,” says Greg Tucker, CEO. “We are glad to show our appreciation for our communities and make a difference for children with our contributions during the holiday season.”
