16 Handles partners with Subway
NYC’s self-serve frozen yogurt shop, 16 Handles, recently unveiled their first co-branded space in collaboration with Subway in Glenmont, N.Y. A grand opening was held Jan. 19.
The location is outfitted with Subway’s rebranded interior design, including the new Subway S Choice Mark logo, as well as wall coverings made with 34% recycled content and water-based inks. The space, located at Town Squire Plaza just outside of Albany, serves the 16 Handles soft serve flavors, as well as a selection of Subway classics, including sandwiches, chips, and cookies.
“We are honored to be operating out of the same space as the world’s largest food franchise that shares a message of fresh ingredients and customizable user experience,” says 16 Handles CEO and founder, Solomon Choi. “It will be interesting to see how the complementary dayparts increase engagement for both brands during the daytime and evening hours.”
“Subway and 16 Handles complement each other so well,” adds Marissa Jackson, co-owner of the 16 Handles in Glenmont. “Not only can you enjoy a fresh-made sandwich, but you can also indulge in some frozen yogurt when you’re finished!”
