With brand characteristics and origins infused into the design, this store educates consumers not only about the products, but also about the importance of environmental sustainability with an emphasis on the role of honeybees.
The scalable prototype features a kit of parts for the fixturing program that allows the products to shine. An efficient layout provides easy navigation. Materials throughout the space include ceramic tile, a custom logo entry mat, a stained concrete floor, and a painted wood shiplap wall finish.
Within a modern general store with the warmth and charm of Old Savannah, varieties of honey and personal care items are vividly defined. Two sampling bars anchoring the space encourage exploration. Graphics further evoke the brand’s philosophy. Bee educators also guide guests with descriptions of the products and the sustainable methods used for harvesting and production.
A children’s area includes a larger-than-life bee skep and bee-related books.
