As part of an integrated retail marketing effort that ran the gamut from creative conceptualization to design, structural engineering, print production, and fulfillment, 501 interactive point-of-purchase displays promoting Activision’s Call of Duty: World War II video game were produced for Walmart locations across the US. The game topped sales charts and smashed the numbers of the franchises’s previous release.
The massive display—an homage to WW2 fighter aircraft—immersed fans in an interactive experience. Shoppers had the opportunity to enter the structure, creating a highly shareable photo opportunity.
The unique display also provided valuable space for PS4 consoles and Call of Duty merchandise such as T-shirts, loot crates, and digital cards for purchasing downloadable games and content.
