Whether young, old, new to LIDS, or a dedicated shopper, customers are all welcomed with an easy-to-navigate customer journey, interesting finishes, familiar product, and innovative shopping tools to enhance the overall experience.
Designed with artisan-influenced details, the Customization area, LIDS’ leading store experience, is a beacon to shoppers. Floor finishes, ceiling elements, and fixture layout are designed around this concept to make it the center of attention. A metal frame and herringbone-patterned wood planks create the counter, with a wood soffit that echoes the layout of the zone. Pendant lights and a custom sign indicate the high level of customer engagement to be expected within this area.
Sourced fixtures create a layered affect, allowing material finishes and the product to work in tandem to tell the overall brand story. A landscape runway draws attention to the latest and greatest merchandise. Specialty fixtures disrupt the rhythm and highlight hero stories, adding focus and drama to an otherwise small sea of product.
Standard paint finishes applied in a special way connect the floor and wall planes, creating continuous visual accents to pique the customer’s interest in the shopping environment. These diagonal stripes guide the customer through the space and provide a branded backdrop to the product display.
The increased use of mirrors and introduction of full-length mirrors allow customers to check out their look from head to toe, knowing that the hat is often the finishing touch on a customer’s ensemble.
