With a contemporary design using backdrops of natural elements originating from the Canadian Rockies, the Aspire Lounge creates a sense of place helping busy travelers escape from the hectic airport environment. A welcome sign listing available amenities invites travelers to stop by. Upon entering the high glazed entrance, passengers are welcomed by the warmly lit, oak wood paneled area. A reception area under a lowered wood-slat ceiling transitions travelers from airport to lounge.
The bright, modern space pays homage to the airport design while incorporating aspects of the oasis with white oak in both solids and book-matched veneer, soft furnishings, and carpet flooring materials. Raw natural edge granite as both vertical and horizontal surfaces reflects the rugged character of the Rocky Mountain back drop.
The servery area optimizes traffic flow during the morning coffee rush with two well-placed Jura one-touch cappuccino machines. The central island allows patrons to choose food and serving plates from various starting places. Vertical surfaces are easy to clean and maintain, thanks to solid surface material.
The functions of the space are defined with millwork fixture groupings such as the central community table, banquets, booth seating, and an entertainment space that provides a wide range of seating choices to accommodate quiet personal, business, or communal spaces.
The far end of the lounge becomes quieter with dramatic views, where Aspire Lounges’ signature ‘Snooze Pods’ welcome visitors to recline and relax with self-controlled entertainment and lightning. For those that take their work on the go, oversized leather chairs are dedicated to workers on the go with charging outlets and side tables with personal task lighting.
