Colorful clam shell display inspires change in shoppers’ makeup routine
The launch of Tarte Cosmetics’ Mermaid Collection, featured in Ulta stores, encourages the target audience to enhance their makeup routine for the festival season with sparkle, shine, and funky colors. A custom color foil and clam shell display calls attention to the new product launch, featuring a bright, corrugated aesthetic to compliment the brands unique products; an eyeshadow palette, limited edition mascara, lash curler and exclusive Mermaid Glitter gel.
Custom foil is litho printed and mounted for increased depth. The backside of the clam shell is also printed for 360-degree color visibility. The print on the back-stock base is reminiscent of a Treasure Chest, with wood grain and hammered edging details. The base holds the maximum quantity of back stock possible without extending beyond the store’s etagere height limitations. All edges of the foam core clam shell are pillow cut to mimic the ridges of a clam shell. In the interior area, the pillow cutting improves the execution of product testers to fit and be displayed. The pinched edges allowed all products to fit snug without any movement.
