Cozmo the robot is brought to life in-store with this display that connects with shoppers emotionally by bringing his personality to the forefront through shape and digital eye movement. An oversized model of Cozmo with bright yellow, white, and black hues combines with motion sensor lighting to capture shoppers’ attention, gaining exposure for the brand. Collaborating with the brand’s coders, animators, and engineers to foster emotion and influence purchase, Cozmo’s eye movements are integrated onto an LCD screen to showcase the robot’s diverse moods and expressions.
LED controls allow shoppers to interact, while videos enable them to further explore Cozmo, his countless features, and his captivating personality. The informational content and showcasing of an out-of-box Cozmo gives shoppers confidence in their purchase decisions. The Cozmo display is unique and has no boundaries. The opacity and clarity of vacuum-formed materials are tested for ideal performance.
Imaginative designs, innovative technology, and in-field rollout support for this program led to expanded collaborations with Anki. A Walmart execution for Cozmo and the launch of the “domestic” robot Vector in Best Buy U.S. and Canada were initiated for the 2018 holiday shopping season. Additionally, the Cozmo product was sold out of all 865 stores.
