Shop!, an industry trade association committed to enhancing retail environments and experiences, has elected Eric Roth as chair of its Producer Council. Roth is an account executive at Frank Mayer and Associates and has more than 16 years of in-store merchandise and point-of-purchase experience.
The Shop! Producer Council is tasked with focusing on producer members of the association, ensuring these companies have opportunities for success now and into the future. Roth’s specific role involves working with Shop! staff liaisons, board liaisons, and the council members themselves to coordinate Producer Council meetings, set goals for the committee, and to ultimately make sure the council provides guidance, resource materials, and industry insight for producer members.
“I’m honored to be a part of such a knowledgeable and collaborative group,” Roth states. “Our goal is to look at the industry first, as a whole, and develop strategies to help keep our producer members viable and current in the ever changing retail landscape.”
In other Frank Mayer personnel news, former EVP Bill Miazga retired at the end of 2019 after 37 years with the company.
Miazga began his career with Frank Mayer and Associates in April 1982 as controller after first consulting for the company on the selection and installation of its first computer system. Over the years, he has covered additional responsibilities.
“Bill is a close associate and an even closer friend who I have enjoyed working with for 37 years,” says Mike Mayer, president of Frank Mayer and Associates. “He has worked and guided this company to new levels, always seeking success. He will be missed. I want to wish Bill and his family nothing but happiness and relaxation wherever life takes them!”
As of Jan. 1, current controller Steve Etzelmueller has taken on a new role as SVP – finance, and SVP Dave King has assumed the title of SVP – operations.
