The clean-lined, innovative Arlo endcap employs smart design and interactive elements to effectively showcase Arlo Technologies’ suite of products, playing up the products’ ease of connectivity and options for subscription services.
The display’s interactive capacitive touch pods are set on a perch, fostering seamless shopper exploration and activation of crisp visual content for inspiration and education. The value engineered capacitive buttons served as a test case for Best Buy and will be used to set a benchmark for the future as the retailer transitions away from its traditional metal activation buttons.
With no resourced installation budget, the activation needed to be efficient and seamless for store associates to set. Easy access to technology for future updates was considered; associates simply need to remove the existing endcap and then build.
Product placement was planned beneath the circuit board, also with the aim of facilitating accessibility and ease of updates for future initiatives. An extra set of graphics is provided, housed within the circuitboard wedge to troubleshoot against any anticipated wear and tear.
